Music Ministry

Our church is blessed to have gifted singers and skillful instrumentalists, both professional and lay musicians, who participate in our ministry week after week. It is our goal to present music that glorifies, edifies, and ministers to the saints who worship with us.

"And He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; many will see and fear, and will trust in the Lord" (Psalm 40:3).

Children's Choir Information

All children in the parish, Grades 2 through 8 are welcome and encouraged to join the Children’s Choir. Registration is ongoing throughout the year. To register, please contact Theresa Thienpont at [email protected] or at the parish office: 991-5488 Ext. 4 at any time. Rehearsals for Children’s Choir are on Wednesdays from 3:30 – 4:30 pm in the Church. The Children’s Choir sings approximately once per month at a weekend mass. We sing with the combined Adult and Youth choirs a couple of times during the year. Our season is from September through May. If you have any other questions, please contact Theresa Thienpont at the parish office or e-mail address above.

 Youth Ensemble Information

All students in the parish in Grades 8 through 12 are welcome and encouraged to join our Youth Ensemble. We are currently singing approximately once per month at either the 4:30 pm or 11:00 am Mass on the weekend. We schedule rehearsals as needed to prepare for upcoming liturgies. Please check the parish bulletin and the choir website for the schedule. The Youth Ensemble is encouraged to sing with the Adult Choir at weekend Masses when they are not scheduled to sing at Mass as a Youth Ensemble. We believe in the active participation of young people in parish ministry and welcome the young people to join in singing as much as possible. Youth Ensemble members are also encouraged to attend Wednesday rehearsals with the Adult choir members as much as possible. Adult Choir rehearsal is held on Wednesday evenings at from 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the Social Hall. Although attendance at Adult Choir Rehearsal is helpful, it is not a requirement for Youth Ensemble members, as many of them have CYO on Wednesday evenings and many demands on their time with their school activities. For more information or questions, please contact Theresa Thienpont at the parish office: 991-5488 Ext. 4, or at [email protected]. Click here for the Youth Ensemble Memo
