LifeTeen is a Youth Ministry program for 9-12th graders at the OLV Parish.
OLV is planning a trip for 9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th graders to par(cipate in the annual MARCH for LIFE, January 1822, 2023, in Washington, D.C.
Travel will be via bus. The historic visit to the na(on’s capital will mark the 50th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade. The March for Life is an inspiring,
peaceful, vibrant, and joyfilled rally of women, men, young people, and children from all across the country converging on the National
Mall and march on Capitol Hill on the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling which legalized abortion in all 50 states.

Since 1973, over 62 million lives have been lost to abortion. We will leave on January 18th at 3pm and will meet up with all the Diocese of Birmingham
in Fort Payne and from there, busses will follow each to DC.
On Thursday morning we will stop and eat breakfast and change into our touring/warm clothes and arrive in DC around 9am we will start touring

as many of the museums as possible. We will check in to our hotel around 4pm and eat and have some reflection time before we go to bed.
On Friday eat breakfast at a hotel and head to mass and then to March for life. After March we will do some sightseeing at night around DC
back to the hotel and some reflection time before bed. Saturday morning we will leave the hotel around 9am and head to see some more museums

and then to meet up with those that came from Birmingham Diocese with Bishop Steven for Mass at the Basilica of National Shrine.
Aafter mass we will be headed home& should be back around 8am on Sunday Morning. I hope your son or daughter can come with us. The
